For the game to work as it was meant to , no values regarding the MHQ (Mobile
HQ) should be edited at all.Screw with them , and you might screw the mission
(I'm not joking).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. Use PKUNZIP.EXE to unzip the file DIECAST.ZIP into your Command & Conquer
   directory.
2. Run CCEDIT ver 2.0 or higher.
3. Use the patch entitled DIECAST.PAT and save all settings.Do NOT edit any
   values.Exit CCEDIT.
4. Run Command & Conquer (GDI).Select Start New Game.
5. You're ready to go!

GAME DESCRIPTION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Basically , The Die Is Cast is a very simple mission.There is really little
in the .ini file.However,it is sufficient for its purposes.As I get more
proficient in writing those .ini files,you'll get more complex missions.

The Die is Cast is my first full scenario.This is a short description :
GDI's intelligence department has detected that NOD is developing a
superweapon.Fearing the worst,a strike force is assembled.This force consists
of allies as well as GDI themselves.A base is built near the superweapon
facility and a trap is put into action.You are the GDI support to this
endeavor.You are to build a GDI base and aid the strike force.Due to the
nature of this mission,certain prices had to be changed or the mission
would have been totally impossible.That's why you'll find medium tanks that
cost $8 and such...

What GDI wants you to do build up a force and rendevous with the Allied
forces.The Allied base is heavily guarded with numerous Obelisks which
might prove useful in the destruction of the NOD weapon.After the rendevous,
set out from the Allied base(not your own) to attack the NOD facility.You
should attack the wall surrounding the base first,with at least 8 med. tanks.
Then,let the program run its course.Your job is to lure the weapon back to
the Allied trap.The computer's AI is very unpredictable.Sometimes,it will
willingly follow you.Other times , you have to coax it a LOT.The vehicle
may be under external remote control.

SOLUTION TO "THE DIE IS CAST"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The scenario emphasises strategy over frontal assault.This is obvious since
the scenario was made such that the superweapon is invulnerable to all forms
of attack.The clue to solving the mission is in the line in the mission
objectives "The vehicle may be under external remote control".Since the
vehicle is indestructible..target all the buildings.Every building must be
destroyed.You can forget the engineers and the infantry from blown up
buildings.So far,the casualty rate for this mission is REAL high and the
effiency is REAL low...if you can get below 70 casualties and > 55% effiency,
you're good...OR YOU USED CCEDIT TO CHANGE VALUES!!
